The Carrier Oils

All products created by Home Sweet Skin are accompanied by Carrier Oils.

Carrier Oils are used to dilute essential oils and 'carry' them into your skin.  The type of carrier oil used in products depends on what it will be used for.  Here are the carrier Oils used by Home Sweet Skin:

100% Virgin Coconut Oil

*contains skin-nourishing fatty acids which makes this oil a great ingredient for natural skincare

100% Organic Pure Jojoba Oil

*it is actually wax with powerful moisturizing properties

*it closely mimics SEBUM which is skin's NATURAL OIL

*absorbs easily and does not clog pores

100% Pure Grape Seed Oil

*very rich in Vitamin E, a nutrient that can help heal the skin and reduce wrinkles

*lightweight and easily absorbs into the skin

100% Pure Argan Oil

*rich in Vitamin A and E

*helps treat dry skin, wrinkles, and skin inflamation

100% Meadowfoam Oil

*repairs the barrier on your outer skin layer that retains moisture so that it does not evaporate as quickly

*contains Vitamin E, a natural ANTIOXIDANT, which helps protect the skin against damage from the sun and environmental toxins.

100% Pure Pomegranate Oil

*is thought to contain natural antimicrobials due to the high Vitamin C component, which may help fight bacteria and fungus in your skin

*is a natural exfoliant

100% Pure Abyssinian Oil

* an effective moisturizer that promotes smooth, supple skin and aides in removing wrinkles

*can be easily absorbed into the skin’s epidermal tissue, where it works to smooth wrinkles and nourish dry, dehydrated skin

100% Pure Almond Sweet Oil

*soothes dry skin 

*highly emollient, which means it helps to balance the absorption of moisture and water loss 

*should not be used if there is a NUT ALLERGY

100% Pure Roseship Oil

*harvested from the seeds of a rose bush

*contains Vitamin C & A and also essential fatty acids

*has MORE Vitamin C than an orange or lemon

100% Pure Avocado Oil

*contains a high percentage of Vitamin E, as well as Potassium, Lecithin, and many other nutrients which can nourish and moisturize your skin

*the OLEIC ACID content promotes collagen production, which helps grow new skin
